Ms. Moehringer’s professional career as a consulting engineer has encompassed a wide range of engineering and managerial responsibilities. Her areas of expertise include transportation design and construction management, entrepreneurship, and business ownership. She is a graduate of New York University Polytechnic School of Engineering (formerly Polytechnic Institute of New York) with a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Management. Ms. Moehringer is a licensed professional engineer in New York State and has daily involvement in overseeing innovative and progressive engineering projects.
As the founder and President of CSM Engineering, Ms. Moehringer is ultimately responsible for the firm’s financial management, business development, operations, and administration. Her significant technical and managerial experience enables her to oversee the broad spectrum of engineering services provided by the firm. Notable projects include the upgrade and expansion efforts related to various key infrastructures throughout New York State, including the Newtown Creek Water Pollution Control Plant, the Long Island Expressway & Cross Island Parkway Interchange, and the North River Water Pollution Control Plant. She has served as a board member of the New York State Society for Professional Engineers where she was recognized with the Distinguished Service Award and Young Engineer of the Year Award. Ms. Moehringer was also recently honored as a recipient of the Premier Business Women of Long Island Award. She is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Consulting Engineering Council of New York where she previously held the positions of Vice President; Treasurer and Secretary; and MTA-Committee member for the same organization. In addition, she is a member of the Women Transportation Seminar and the Society of Women Engineers. |
