Sr. Director of Direct Material Procurement and End-to-End Supply-Chain & Services Cost Management for Zebra Technologies, Inc. I started my career as a Semiconductor Packaging Engineer in Silicon Valley after receiving my M.S. in Electrical Engineering from SUNY Binghamton, and then transitioned to Procurement as a Category Manager for Spansion, LLC after successfully completing my MBA at Santa Clara University. After a year in Procurement, I moved back to my home state of New York, continuing my Procurement year and supporting Motorola's Integrated Supply-Chain after the acquisition of Symbol Technologies. I held several positions at Motorola, from category management, to managing a $60M product line of rugged handheld and industrial fixed mount barcode scanners, until moving into a leadership position back in Procurement.
I have spent the last eight years in the Procurement organization in various leadership roles, building out my breadth of knowledge of our products and our sourcing strategy and joining the Zebra leadership team in late 2014 as part of the acquisition of the Enterprise Division of Motorola. I have enjoyed the past six years at Zebra and helped the company grow from a $3.5B company with $3.25B in long-term debt to a $5B+ company with less than $2B in long-term debt. I have a passion for coaching and developing employees, and helping employees, colleagues and interns gain and develop skills through mentorship, formal training and experiential learning. I seek to continue to develop my own leadership style and continue to improve my knowledge, skills and capabilities and evolve as market dynamics continue to change. Outside of work, I am very dedicated to my family, inclusive of my wife and two children, and enjoy playing hockey and golf as time permits. |
