Lisa Ackerman currently serves as Executive Director of Columbus Citizens Foundation, an organization devoted to Italian American heritage. CCF runs a scholarship program for high school and college education, providing approximately $2 million in annual support. Previously, Ms. Ackerman was Interim CEO of World Monuments, overseeing cultural heritage conservation programs in more than 50 countries during her tenure, which included 11 years as EVP & COO.
Prior to WMF, she was EVP at the Samuel H. Kress Foundation, managing grant and fellowship programs in art history and art conservation devoted to expanding access to scholarly resources and increasing institutional collaboration. Ms. Ackerman holds a BA from Middlebury College, an MBA from New York University, and an MS from Pratt Institute. She currently serves on the boards of ASOR, New York Preservation Archive Project, and Historic House Trust of New York City. She holds an appointment of Visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute. |
